Mr. Kuljinder Dhindsa, AAG, Punjab. **** JASJIT SINGH BEDI, J.(ORAL) On 22.05.2026, the following order was passed:- “The prayer in the present petition under Section 528 BNSS, 2023 is for quashing of the order dated 12.10.2023 (Annexure P-4) passed by the JMIC, Hoshiarpur vide which the petitioner has been declared a proclaimed person in case FIR No.68 dated 03.06.2018 under Section 341, 323, 506, 379, 148 and 149 IPC registered at Police Station Bullowal, Distt. Hoshiarpur. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the impugned order (Annexure P-4) has been passed in an illegal and arbitrary manner. The co-accused of the petitioner, namely, Sukhdev Singh faced Trial and was acquitted vide judgment dated 17.01.2025 passed by the JMIC, Hoshiarpur (Annexure P-2).
