The present civil writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the impugned result dated 15.01.2020 (Annexure P-6) and impugned communication dated 24.12.2019 (Annexure P-4) declared and issued by respondent No.2, respectively as well as for quashing the announcement dated 26.12.2019 (Annexure P-5). Further, for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to call the petitioner for interview for the aforesaid post of Assistant Professor and a fresh candidate be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the interview after total evaluation of marks.
