The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 (corresponding Section 482 Cr.P.C.) for quashing of FIR No. 644 dated 13.11.2023 under Sections 323,324,506,34 of IPC (corresponding Sections 115(2), 118(1), 351(3), 34(3), 281 of BNS registered at Police Station Sector 32- 33 Karnal, District Karnal, Haryana on the basis of compromise/settlement agreement dated 20.03.2026 (Annexure P-2). 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the FIR is outcome of a misunderstanding which has now been resolved and with the intervention of the respectables of the Society, the matter has indeed been compromised between the parties. He has referred to a copy of the compromise and affidavit in this regard at Annexure P-2. 3.
