This Criminal Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ, order or direction especially in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No. 1 to 3 for providing protection to the life and liberty of the petitioners who anticipate grave and imminent danger and threat at the hands of respondents No. 4 to 12 and any other relatives and not to interfere in the peaceful married life of the petitioners at the behest of respondents No. 4 to 12 and other relatives and friends. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that both the petitioners being major, got married against the wishes of private respondents. Ever since then, the petitioners are being threatened with dire consequences by the private respondents. Resultantly, a representation dated 05.07.2026 (Annexure P-8) was also made to respondent N
