The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 (corresponding Section 482 Cr.P.C.) for quashing of FIR No.57 dated 11.02.2026, registered under Sections 115, 118(1), 3(5) BNS (earlier Sections 323, 326, 34 IPC) at Police Station Sadar Yamuna Nagar, District Yamuna Nagar along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-2). 2. Learmed counsel for the petitioners submits that the FIR is outcome of a matrimonial dispute which has now been resolved and with the intervention of the respectables of the Society, the matter has indeed been compromised between the parties.
