Prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, for quashing the memo dated 27.06.2017 (Annexure P-9) to the extent that petitioner’s post of Junior Librarian has wrongly been placed in Level-4 instead of Level-6 while implementing 7th Pay Commission. Further a writ of mandamus has been sought, directing the respondents to refix the pay of the petitioner in Level-6 corresponding to GP Rs.3600/- w.e.f. 01.01.2016 with all consequential service and retiral benefits including arrears with interest @ 9% per annum on delayed payment till the date of realization. 2.
