The petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed for directing official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners and their family members. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners were engaged in property dealing in Baba Mastnath Nagar, Rohtak and Sampla-Beri Road, Sampla. Since 14.06.2025, they had been receiving extortion and threat calls from one Himanshu Bhau who demanded Rs.2 crores. The matter was reported to the police and FIR No.223 dated 16.06.2025 was registered. Thereafter also, petitioners have been repeatedly receiving threat calls from unknown numbers.
