The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 (corresponding Section 482 Cr.P.C.) for quashing of FIR No.0274 dated 20.12.2021 under Section 420 IPC ( now Section 318(4) BNS) registered at Police Station Division A, District Police Commissionerate, Amritsar on the basis of compromise and affidavit dated 06.03.2026. (Annexure P-2). 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the FIR is outcome of a monetary dispute which has now been resolved and with the intervention of the respectables of the Society, the matter has indeed been compromised between the parties. She has referred to a copy of the compromise and affidavit in this regard at Annexure P-2. 3
