The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for setting aside order (Annexure P-12) passed by respondent No.3 and for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to revise the pension of the petitioner retrospectively w.e.f. 01.04.2001 on the basis of his revised basic pay, and to extend to him the benefit of revised commuted value of pension along with arrears thereof, w.e.f. 01.04.2001, along with interest @ 18% per annum. 2.
