The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion from the post of Junior Engineer to the post of Additional Assistant Engineer Electrical from the date his juniors have been promoted with all consequential benefits and further, to grant benefit of increments which fell due in December 2024 and December 2025 and benefit of ACP of 9 years to the petitioner. 2. After arguing the case for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to file a fresh one on the same cause of action with better particulars. 3.
