(ORAL) The present appeal is directed against the award dated 15.10.2025 passed by the learned Motor Accident Claims Tribunal arising out of a motor vehicular accident that occurred on 13.01.2018, wherein Raiyat Ram lost his life on account of the rash and negligent driving of motorcycle bearing registra6on No. HR-40-D-1826. 2. The deceased was about 85 years of age at the 6me of the accident. The claim pe66on under Sec6on 166 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 was ins6tuted by his four sons, aged between 37 & 55 years, and one grandson aged about 30 years. 3. The learned Tribunal held that the accident had occurred due to the rash and negligent driving of the offending motorcycle and awarded compensa6on under the heads of medical expenses incurred prior to the death of the deceased, loss of estate, filial consor6um and funeral expenses, aggrega6ng to ₹1,88
