Learned counsel submits that the petitioner though was appointed as Beldar, vide letter dated 06.06.2000, Annexure P-1, however, from that day onwards, he has been working on the post of W.P.A., for which reference is made to identity card and log book, Annexures P-2 and P-4, respectively, but has not been paid the salary of the said post. In similar set of facts, the department has passed the orders, Annexures P-22 to P-27, wherein only notional benefit of Class-III post was granted with no financial benefits ie. arrears of pay and interest thereon, as also the seniority.
