The present petition has been filed under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023 (erstwhile Section 439 Cr.P.C.) seeking regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.83 dated 07.08.2023 registered under Sections 307, 452, 323 and 120-B IPC (now Sections 109, 333, 115(2) and 61 BNS, 2023), Section 201 IPC (now Section 238 BNS) added later on in the challan, at Police Station Sadar Ahmedgarh, District Malerkotla. 2. The case of the prosecution is that four unidentified persons, with their faces muffled and armed with a gandasi, dah and sticks, allegedly entered the office of the complainant, inflicted injuries upon the complainant as well as his son, Avi, with their respective weapons, and thereafter fled from the spot.
