Prayer in the instant petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of appropriate directions to respondent Nos.2 and 3, to protect the lives and liberty of the petitioners, who apprehend threat to their life at the hands of private respondents, and not to harass or interfere in the peaceful life of the petitioners. 2.
