The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing respondent No.3 to refix the seniority list of Clerk- cum-Data Entry Operators, which has been framed against the statutory provisions of the Punjab State Cooperative Agricultural Development Bank Service Common Cadre Rules, 1978. 2.
