(oral) Apprehending danger to their life and liberty, both petitioners who are in live-in relationship have filed the present petition with a prayer to direct official respondents to protect their life and liberty from respondents No. 4 to 8. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner No.1 was 15 years while petitioner No.2 was 18 years of age. Petitioners fell in love and were in relationship. Parents of petitioner No.1 were against the relationship and had extended threats to eliminate both petitioners on which account petitioner No.1 joined the company of petitioner No.2. Representation Annexure P-4 was moved to Senior Superintendent of Police, Gurdaspur, Punjab for protection of their life and liberty but no action was taken thereon. 3.
