The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the action of the respondents whereby the claim of the petitioners in refixing the pay at level 5 as per 7th Central Pay Commission recommendations, corresponding to the pay scale of Rs.5910- 20200+3000 Grade Pay being attached to the post of Medical Laboratory Technician Grade-II as on 01.01.2006, has been rejected.
