Petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, seeking issuance of appropriate direction to respondents No.1 to 4, to conduct fair investigation in FIR no.15 dated 24.01.2026, registered under Sections 331(6), 115(2), 351(2), 324(4) Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for short BNS), at Police Station City Sunam and further to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner, at the hands of respondents No.5 to 12. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already submitted a representations dated 02.07.2026 (Annexure P-9) to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur and he shall be satisfied in case respondent No.2 is directed to look into the matter and take appropriate steps, in accordance with law.
