The criminal writ petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeks the following reliefs:- (i) Direction to official respondent No.2 to protect life and liberty of the petitioner and his family at the hands of the private respondents; (ii) Direction to official respondent No.2 to decide representation dated 13.07.2026. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner’s brother was murdered and on his complaint FIR No.125 dated 24.06.2026 under Sections 103(2), 3(5) BNS, Police Station Makhu, District Ferozepur was registered against private respondent No.5. Respondent No.5 was not being arrested by the investigating agency and was continuously threatening and intimidating the petitioner and his family members to compromise the matter.
