The present writ petition has been filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the impugned order dated 29.04.2026 (Annexure P-2), whereby the petitioner has been retired from service on attaining the age of 58 years. A further direction is sought to the respondents to permit the petitioner to continue in service up to the age of 60 years in accordance with the applicable service rules and to extend all consequential benefits. 2.
