A report dated 01.06.2026 has been received from District and Sessions Judge, Gurdaspur in terms of the order dated 13.05.2026 passed by this Court. As per it, the complainant has compromised the matter in question with the petitioner. As per the said report, the petitioner is not a proclaimed offender but was declared proclaimed person in the FIR in question vide order dated 22.12.2023. It also says that no other FIR stands registered against the petitioner. As per it, compromise arrived at between the parties to the lis is genuine, voluntary and without any coercion or undue influence.
