Prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioners and regularize their services. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners, inter alia, contends that the petitioners were appointed as Part-time Sweepers in Government Senior Secondary Schools. The petitioners have rendered 18-19 years of uninterrupted service and they have been performing the duties of Sweeper, Peon, Night Chowkidar and Mali for 24 hours a day daily.
