The present anticipatory bail application has been filed on behalf of the applicant in Case Crime No.249 of 2026, under Sections 8, 20, 29 of Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, Police Station – Katghar, District Moradabad, with a prayer to enlarge him on anticipatory bail, as the applicant apprehends his arrest in the aforesaid case. 3. Learned counsel for the applicant contends that the applicant has been falsely implicated in the present case. The co-accused, Gulfaam, was arrested with 210 grams of Charas and it is supposedly in his statement recorded before the police that the name of the applicant has surfaced during investigation.
