(Oral) The prayer in the present petition under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 (Section 438 of Cr.P.C.,) is for the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.35 dated 22.01.2026 (Annexure P-1) under Sections 316(2) and 318(4) BNS (Sections 406 and 420 of IPC) registered at Police Station Surajkund, District Faridabad. 2. As the Court was not inclined to grant pre arrest bail to the petitioner, on 25.03.2026 the parties were directed to appear before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court to explore the possibility of an amicable settlement. In view thereof, the arrest of the petitioner was stayed. The petitioner had undertaken to pay a sum of Rs.1,50,00,000/- in terms of the compromise, but has chosen not to do so. Further, prima facie a bare reading of the FIR would reveal the commission of the offence
