The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking grant of regular bail in FIR No.28 dated 22.02.2026 registered under Sections 21, 27-A, 29, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Chattiwind, District Amritsar Rural. 2. The case of the prosecution is that on 22.02.2026, while a police party was on patrol duty, co-accused Nishan Singh @ Shana was apprehended. Upon search conducted in accordance with law, 07 grams of heroin and drug money amounting to %200/- were allegedly recovered from his conscious possession. During the course of investigation, the said co-accused suffered a disclosure statement alleging that he had purchased the recovered heroin from Sukhwinder Singh @ Kaka, Shan, Tara and the present petitioner, Akashdeep Singh @ Akash
