The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (corresponding to Section 482 Cr.P.C.) seeking quashing of Criminal Complaint No. 803 dated 17.12.2009 titled 'Ashok Seth vs. Ajay Gupta' under Sections 499 and 500 IPC, the summoning order dated 18.10.2012 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Jalandhar, and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the present petition, the parties have amicably resolved their dispute and have entered into a compromise. It is further submitted that, in view of the said compromise, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition.
