The petitioner has invoked the extraordinary jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, with the following prayer:- "a). To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the court of Settlement Officer Consolidation, Gorakhpur to decide the stay application in Appeal no. 0678 of 2025 and computer case no. 2025540531000000678, under Section 11 (1), (Ram Prasad and others Vs. Ram Milan and others), within the time specified by this Hon'ble Court, So that may justice may be done." 3.It is submitted that the stay application is pending consideration filed along with the appeal which is causing prejudice to the present petitioner. 4.
