The petitioner has invoked the extraordinary jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, with the following prayer:- "i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing to the Respondent No. 2/ Consolidation Officer Phoolpur Phoolpur, Nerhruhal, Collectorate, Azamgarh to consider and finally decide the Original Suit NO. 182 of 2025 (Rohit Vs. Shiv Poojan) expeditiously as possible with a short and stipulated time bound period." 3.It is submitted the proceedings under Section 12 of the UP Consolidation of Holdings Act is pending consideration since 2022, despite the fact that opposite party in the aforesaid proceedings has appeared and case is ready for final hearing. 4.
