Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel and perused the record. 2. The petitioner has invoked the extraordinary jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, with the following prayer:- "(A). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing to the Settlement Officer, Consolidation Auraiya to decide the stay application dated 26.09.2025 under Section 11 CH Act in appeal NO. 65 of 2024 (Abdul Maseet Ahmad Quadari Vs. Anand Kumar and others), which is pending in the court of Settlement Officer, Consolidation Auraiya, expeditiously within a stipulated period." 3.It is submitted that the stay application is pending consideration filed along with the appeal which is causing prejudice to the present petitioner. 4.
