Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel and perused the record. 2. The petitioner has invoked the extraordinary jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, seeking the following prayer:- "I. issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding directing the Respondent No. 2 Settlement Officer Consolidation Jaunpur, District Jaunpur to decide the impleadment application of the applicant/petitioner filed in appeal no. 04405 of 2020 (Deenu Vs. State of UP and others) U/s 11(1) of Consolidation Holding Act (Deenu vs. State) Mauja Lapri, Pargana Anguli, Tehsil Shahganj, District Jaunpur within stipulated period as directed by this Hon'ble Court." 3. Learned Standing Counsel has no objection in case a direction is issued for expeditious disposal of the aforementioned matter. 4. In this conspectus, as above, no useful purpose would be served
