Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel, and perused the record. 2. The petitioner has invoked the extraordinary jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, seeking the following reliefs:- "(i) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the Consolidation Authorities to inquire the matter and correct the record of the gata no. 5023 area 1.629 as per fasli-1354. (ii) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the Consolidation Officer to registered the Gata no. 5023 in falsli year-1354 in the revenue record prior the publication of under section 52 of Consolidation Operations." 3.
