The petitioner has invoked the extraordinary jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, for the following relief:- "i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent no. 2 Additional Settlement Officer of Consolidation, Ballia to decide the Appeal No. 2008541509000016 (Sarvajeet Lat Vs. Uttam Chand and others, under 11(1) of U.P.C.H. Act within stipulated period fixed by this Hon'ble Court which is pending before him." 3.
