The instant writ petition has been filed for cancellation of notification under Section 4(2) of U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Act(hereinafter called U.P.C.H. Act) promulgated on 6.12.2013 with respect to Village Garwara, Pargana and Tehsil Karvi, District Chitrakoot. 2. It is submitted that most of the villagers are not in favour of consolidation operation and they are satisfied with their holdings, and amenities available in the village; therefore, notification under Section 4(2) of U.P.C.H. Act may be cancelled by promulgation of notification under Section 6(1) of the U.P.C.H. Act. It is further submitted that a detailed representation has been moved before the Director of Consolidation in this regard; however, the same is still pending consideration. 3.
