Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. Instant writ petition has been filed, inter alia, for the following relief :- "Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 (The Settlement Officer of Consolidation Prayagraj/Allahabad) to decide the Appeal No. 0873 of 2025 Computerized Case No.20255402300000873 (Ram Kailash vs. Ram Singh and others) u/s 11(1) U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953 within stipulated period which may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court, otherwise the petitioner shall suffer irreparable loss and injury." 3. It is submitted that the appeal under Section 11(1) of the U.P.C.H. Act is pending since 28.03.2025, despite the fact that opposite parties in the appeal have already appeared and the case is ripen for final adjudication. 4. Learned Standing Counsel has no objection, if a direction is issued to decide the aforesaid case, expeditiously.
