Heard Shri Shivendra Kumar Gupta, learned counsel for the writ petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. The case of the writ petitioners is that they are constables in the Civil Police under U.P. Police Department and have rendered 19 years of service. The claim of the writ petitioners is that they are entitled to the benefits which had been accorded to the writ petitioners in Writ Petition No. 44330 of 2012 (Ghanshyam Tiwari & Others Vs. State of U.P. & Others) and the Government Orders so issued thereon. Submission is that they have rendered more than 19 years of service, thus, they are entitled to grant of one additional increment according to the Government Order dated 02.12.2020. 3.
