With the consent of the parties, the writ petition is being decided at the fresh stage. 3. The case of the writ petitioner is that he was appointed on the post of Mate on 09.01.2009. By virtue of the Government Order dated 08.12.2008, the Pay Band and the Grade in revised pay structure stood revised with effect from 01.01.2006.
