The case of the writ petitioner is that he is contractual employee, however, he was working on the post of Computer Operator/ Junior Assistant but he has not been accorded minimum of the pay scale which he ought to have been granted in view of the law laid down in the State of Punjab v. Jagjit Singh (2017) 1 SCC 148 and Shah Sameer Bharatbhai & Ors. v. State of Gujarat and Others; 2025 INSC 1026. 3. Prayer in the present petition is for a direction to the respondents to consider the claim. 4.
