The grievance of the writ petitioner is that so far as the writ petitioner no.1 is concerned, he was appointed as Police Constable on 01.11.1986, promoted as Head Constable and is going to superannuate shortly. So far as petitioner no.2 is concerned, he was appointed as Police Constable on 16.06.1986 and promoted on the post of Head Constable and then to Sub-Inspector. The petitioner no.2 claims to retire shortly. 3. Prayer in the present writ petition is for consideration of their claim for being posted in their home district. 4. Learned Standing Counsel on the other hand submits that the claim of the writ petitioner needs to be decided at the first instance by Respondent no.3. 5.
