The case of the writ petitioner is that he was appointed as a Meth in the year 1995 and he stood regularized on 15.10.1997. According to the writ petitioner, his date of birth is 20.11.1975, however, in the record, it was wrongly transcribed as 20.11.1965. According to the writ petitioner, he superannuated on 30.11.2025, however, when the writ petitioner came to know about the incorrect date, finding is present in the service book then the writ petitioner has approached this Court while filing writ petition seeking correction of date of birth. 3. Learned Additional CSC submits that there cannot be correction of the date of birth at the fag end or post retirement. 4. I have heard the submission so made across the bar and perused the record. 5.
