The case of the writ petitioner is that he was selected as Police Constable in the year 1982 and he promoted as Head Constable and presently as Sub Inspector and he superannuated on 31.12.2023, however, now by virtue of the order dated 05.06.2024 passed by second respondent, Senior Superintendent of Police, Meerut, District Meerut now the salary has been reduced from Rs. 66,000/- to 62,200/-.
