Heard Sri B.D. Mishra, learned counsel for the writ petitioner and Sri Gaurav Singh, learned Standing Counsel for the State as well as Sri Avanish Tripathi for the Commission. 2. The grievance of the writ petitioner is that he applied in pursuance of the Advertisement No.1/2015-16 issued by the Commission for recruitment on 7 posts of Assistant Statistical Officers. The writ petitioner claims to have been applied in pursuance thereof. He was also called for interview, however, at the time of verification, it was found that a criminal case bearing number '332/2019' u/s 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 IPC is pending against the writ petitioner along with Case Crime no.291 of 2020 under Section 3(1) of the Gangster Act.
