The case of the writ petitioners is that the writ petitioners are retired from Group C posts under the State Government. The petitioners claim that they have completed 19 years satisfactory service and they are entitled to the benefit of one additional increment according to the Government Order so issued on 02.12.2000. 3. Prayer in the present petition is for a direction to the respondent authorities to take into consideration the service period spent by the petitioners while undergoing before they were retired from Group C posts for calculating 19 years of service granting one additional increment according to the Government Order. 4.
