HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD WRIT - A No. - 303 of 2026 Sapna .....Petitioner(s) Versus Union Of India And 2 Others .....Respondent(s) Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Sanjay Kumar Chaurasia, Shyam Sunder Sharma Counsel for Respondent(s) : A.S.G.I., Gopal Verma Court No. - 33 HON'BLE VIKAS BUDHWAR, J. 1. Heard Sri S.S. Sharma, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Gopal Verma, learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. A preliminary objection has been raised on the ground that present petition would not be maintainable particularly when the writ petitioner has remedy to approach the Central Administrative Tribunal by filing original application since the relief has been sought against the Northern Railway, Moradabad. Reliance has been placed upon decision of Hon'ble Apex Court in L. Chandra Kumar Vs. Union of India, AIR 1997 SC 1125. 3. Learned counsel for the writ petitioner could not dispute the legal position. 4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of leaving it open for the petitioner to approach the Central Administrative Tribunal having territorial jurisdiction over the matter.
