The grievance of the writ petitioner is that she had applied for recruitment in pursuance of the advertisement published in the year 2023 being U.P. Police Constable Civil Police Direct Recruitment 2023 under SC category. The petitioner was to appear for PET (Physical Efficiency Test) on 25.02.2025, however, due to pregnancy, the petitioner could not appear on the said date and preferred an application on 04.03.2025 for fixing any other date, however, the said application has not been decided. 3. Learned Standing Counsel submits that though the writ petition has sought date on 04.03.2025 but the present writ petition has been presented before this Court on 09.01.2026 after a long span of time.
