A preliminary objection has been raised on the ground that the writ petitioner is a practising lawyer and a relief is sought to be couched in a manner which is akin to public interest litigation, thus, the present writ petition would not be maintainable. According to him, the writ petitioner can prefer a writ of quo warranto. 3. Learned counsel for the writ petitioner could not dispute the said position. 4. The writ petition is disposed of leaving it open for the writ petitioner to prefer appropriate proceedings. (Vikas Budhwar,J.)
