The case of the writ petitioner is that he was appointed as a home-guard in the year 1989, however, owing to lodging of a first information report bearing no. 106 of 2023, under Sections 147, 148, 307, 353, 332, 283 IPC and 2/3 of the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act, 1984 and Section 07 of the Criminal Law (Amendment) Act, 1932, a show cause notice came to be issued on 09.09.2025 by the District Commandant Home- guard, Shahjahanpur, third respondent restraining the writ petitioner from performing the duties and also show causing him. 3.
