The case of the writ petitioner is that he was engaged as a Home-Guard, however owing to lodging of case being Case Crime No.1139 of 2021, under Sections 323, 376(1), 506 IPC, P.S. Kotwali Shahar, District Bulandshahr, the writ petitioner was convicted. Thereafter, the sentence was suspended and a show cause notice came to be issued restraining the writ petitioner from performing the duties, against which the writ petitioner preferred Writ- A No. 2808 of 2022 (Satendra Kumar vs. State of U.P.), which was disposed of. Thereafter, the writ petitioner preferred another writ petition being Writ- A No. 16822 of 2025, however, the learned Standing Counsel produced an order dated 17.08.2024 cancelling the candidature/appointment of the writ petitioner.
