A preliminary objection raised by the counsel for the respondent that the writ may not be maintainable as the writ petitioner has an alternative efficacious remedy for preferring Original Application before the Tribunal. Reliance has been placed upon a decision of the Hon'ble Apex Court in L. Chandra Kumar vs. Union of India and others, AIR 1997 SUPREME COURT 1125. 3.
