Rathore, learned counsel for the writ petitioner and Sri Vivek Singh, learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. The grievance of the writ petitioner is that the father of the writ petitioner, who was working in the Police Department expired on 25.02.2024 and the mother of the writ petitioner also expired prior to it on 30.11.2021. The petitioner is a divorcee and she is fully dependent upon her father. 3. Prayer in the present writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to consider the claim of the writ petitioner for grant of family pension. 4. Learned Standing Counsel on the other hand submits that the claim of the writ petitioner needs adjudication at the first instance by Respondent no.2. 5.
