The grievance of the writ petitioner is that they were enrolled as soldiers in Indian Army on respective dates and consequent to their induction in police services under the State of U.P., they are entitled to refixation of the salary while adding the previous services rendered by the petitioner in Indian Army. Reliance has been placed upon the judgement in Hans Nath Dwivedi vs. State of U.P. and others, Writ-A No.32139 of 2007 decided on 21.10.2010 as well as Writ-A No.12064 of 2021, Vimal Kumar Singh and 12 others vs. State of U.P. and 4 others decided on 01.11.2021. 3.
